LEIGHTON - makes all on BRIXEN - to win by 7L at 33/1 at a snowy Southwell. It was a very impressive win for the Lucy Wadham trained mare.

- After riding Pat Murphy's MAKTU to 3rd place at Chepstow on Saturday 5th December, Leighton hotfooted it to Sandown Park to partner Oliver Sherwoods - ERIC'S CHARM in 3m5f London National Handicap Chase - A dash that wasn't in vain, Erics Charm made almost all of the running, and went clear after the last to win by 20 Lengths. He returned at 8/1, but was available at 22/1 in the morning. He was also tipped on the fan clubs free daily tip.... What a jockey!!!!

*Fan club member does Dunwoody challenge..Read report below..

From 29th May to 10th July 09 Richard Dunwoody walked 1000 miles in 1000 hours, thats 1 mile every hour for a thousand consecutive hours, 42 days with maxumum sleep of about 1 hour 15 mins at any one time.
Different celebrities and other sponsored members of the public joined Richard along the way to raise money for charity. -Alzeimers Society. Racing Welfare and Spinal Research, will benefit.
Fan club member Tina Dolding from Kent represented The Leighton Aspell Fan Club when she joined Richard for a few miles walk at Newmarket. Tina was proudly sporting a Fan Club 'T' Shirt for the occasion, which got plenty of comments from other walkers including J.P.Mcnamara who was also walking that day. No explanation was needed, they all knew about the fan club. Well done to to Tina who said she was proud to fly the flag for the fan club.

Bob Champion's 60/60 Challenge hits Lingfield

Fan Club member Tina Dolding again joins Bob Champion to raise money for his charity.
Bob Champion visited Lingfield Park as part of his quest to visit 60 Racecourses in 60 days to raise awareness and funds for The Bob Champion cancer trust and the Injured Jockeys Fund.
Bob is picture here with fan club member Tina Dolding who as also been raising money for Bob's Trust. Well done Teen.
